As we highlighted earlier this month on Pittsburgh Food News, a restaurant that features a cat room just came to the city. But we didn’t forget about all of our dog-loving readers. So today we are featuring several locations where dogs are welcome.
Allegheny City Brewing – 507 Foreland St., Northside
They actually have an entire wall dedicated to their patron’s animals. So if you visit, bring a photo of your pet to tack onto the wall.
Grist House Craft Brewery – 10 E Sherman St., Millvale
With tons of space to run around and concrete floors for cooling off, this brewery is a favorite for all their dog guests.
Double Wide Grill – 2339 E Carson St., Southside
This grill offers a separate area for their guests with pets that is counter service only.
East End Brewing Company – 147 Julius St., East Liberty
The taproom at this brewery is one of the most dog-friendly places in the city.
Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36 – 393 N Shore Dr., North Shore
The patio at the Jerome Bettis Grille invites you to bring you dog with you. They even have special water bowls to keep the pets hydrated.
The Brew Gentlemen – 512 Braddock Ave, Braddock
Bring your friendly dog to this brewery to enjoy your favorite wheat beers and IPAs.
Arsenal Cider House & Wine Cellar – 300 39th St., Lawrenceville
Arsenal Cider House & Wine Cellar has a massive outdoor garden and they encourage patrons to bring their pets to enjoy their cider and live music.
D’s Six Pax and Dogz – 1118 S Braddock Ave., Regent Square
This hot dog shop has two sidewalk tables that welcome dogs to sit with their owners.
Square Cafe – 1137 S Braddock Ave., Regent Square
At Square Cafe, guests can enjoy brunch with their pet on the outside patio. They will even provide your four-legged friend with his/her own water bowl.
Ace Hotel Lobby Bar – 120 S Whitfield St., East Liberty
Guest of the pet-friendly hotel can also enjoy a libation with their furry friend at the hotel bar. However the pet-friendly policy doesn’t extend into the restaurant section of the lobby.
Bierport – 4115 Butler St., Lawrenceville
Dogs are welcome to relax as their owners try beer from Bierport’s 1,000 different beers.
Hitchhiker Brewing – 190 Castle Shannon Blvd., Mt. Lebanon
The inside of Hitchhiker Brewing is pet-friendly, but the highlight for pets is the three different outside patios where dogs are free to play.
Big Dog Coffee – 2717 Sarah St., Southside
The appropriately named Big Dog Coffee shop is one of the most pet-friendly places in the burgh. With their giant chairs, guests can enjoy a cappuccino with their furry friend inside, or on the outside patio with your dog by your side.
